Pack of Spitfire MkVc/Seafire MkIb skins.

These have been made to fit both the Spitfire MkVc and also the modded Seafire MkIIc from AAA (however this was also similar to the MkIb)
A brief history is that the Royal Navy wanted a 'Hooked Spitfire' for carrier use, leading to the development from the MkVb the first Seafire, BL676 named Bondowoso at the A&AEE facility at Boscombe Down in March 1942 (Enclosed skin).

This A/C had an 'A' frame hook arrangement fitted into the lower fuselage and strengthaning bars fitted along the fuselage sides from just behind the fuel tank to just behind the anchor point for the 'A' frame (panel lines added to represent hook, strengthening and pivot).
BL676 was re-serialled MB328 and went onto active duty

Also enclosed are,

Seafire MkIIc MB244/6-Q flown from HMS Indomitable, Scapa Flow, June 1943.

Seafire MkIb MB345/K flown from HMS Formidable, MTO Feb 1943,

Seafire MB345/06-K, the same A/C as above but re-coded and four months later,

Seafire MkIb MB335/E3-Y flown by 731 NAS, Deck Landing Control Training, RNAS East Haven, summer 1944.

Seafire MkIb MB366/K flown by 801 NAS, HMS Furious, Op Torch, Nov 1942

Also enclosed are roundel only versions and tail flash versions.

Heavily altered template from Robo (MkVc) with stuff from Jester, FBS and Kristorf

Uploaded in the M4T Spitire MkVc section, www.mission4today.com/...mp;id=4453 and here www.flying-legends.net...hp?id=7452

Thank you very much!
I love Bondowoso, one of the Dutch presentation spitfires. It was founded by the Dutch people living in the Dutch east Indies before December 7 1941.

Cheers,
Joppe

Beautifull skins M8. The Spitfire is my favorite kite and this group of skins fits nicely with her. Wink Very Happy
